Vitamin C helps by providing resistance to all infections, including skin infections.

Vitamin A is said to be helpful in preventing or reducing the manifestation of wrinkles and acne. There are many lotions and skin cream products available in the market today that are containing Vitamin A nutrients. When applied to the external area of the skin, this vitamin also helps moisturize and smoothen the organ.

Vitamin B complex contains biotin, which is very essential in the formation of the nails, the hair cells and the skin. Deficiency in Vitamin B complex can even lead to serious skin ailment like rashes and red, swollen spots. Dermatitis is also caused by Vitamin B complex deficiency.

Vitamin K helps reduce bruises and help the skin tissues easily overcome small and even major abrasions and cuts. Under-eye circles can also be prevented and eliminated by the use and intake of Vitamin K, the blood-clotting vitamin.

As for the minerals, copper, zinc and selenium, these minerals are found to have effects that are good and ideal for the skin. These minerals can also be found and absorbed from simple food sources. Common and nutritious foods usually contain them. Many nutrition supplements are also containing these minerals.

The food you take characterizes the external attributes of your skin. If you are bent on eating nutritious foods and having a balanced diet, for sure, you would never encounter skin problems and conditions. You know how important it is to keep the skin looking great and glowing each time.
