Everyone ages at the same rate and while aging is inevitable, one can always slow down the rate of aging.

Anti aging supplements may help to turn back the clock. They help prevent and treat some of the problems associated with aging and one can search out these supplements from health food shops and pharmacists.

It is advisable to check with one’s doctor to ensure that the supplements will not interfere with any medical conditions or medication.

Anti aging supplements are available in different types as below
:

Coenzyme Q10: It (also known as ubiquinone, ubidecarenone, and abbreviated at times to CoQ10, CoQ, Q10 or Q) is a benzoquinone, where the "Q" and the "10" in the name refer to the quinone chemical group and the 10 isoprenyl chemical subunits, respectively. By nature, this vitamin-like substance is present in all human cells and responsible for the production of the body’s own energy. With the aid of this substance, the food energy, in each human cell, is converted into energy for our body and 95% of all our body’s energy requirements is satisfied by this. The organs such as the heart, the lungs and the liver with the highest energy requirements have been shown to have the highest Coenzyme Q10 concentrations. It also helps regulate the oxidation of fats and sugar into energy and slows down the ageing, increases energy and lessens blood pressure. The use of Coenzyme Q10 does not produce any serious side effects, however, some users might experience a mild inability to sleep, elevation of liver enzymes levels, rashes, nausea, upper abdominal pain, dizziness, irritability, headache, fatigue, heartburn, and visual sensitivity to light.

Ginseng: It is the most famous Chinese herb for more than 7000 years and the most widely recognized plant used in traditional medicine with a legendary reputation as an overall body tonic, rejuvenator and anti aging supplement. It helps delay the ageing, heightens the immune system and performs as an antioxidant. Studies on human health show the most commonly reported side effects from Ginseng are anxiety, breast pain, drowsiness, insomnia, restlessness, vomiting and headache.

Echinacea: It is a plant, extract which acts as an anti-irritant, reduces skin irritation caused by hydroxyl acids, and boosts the anti aging efficacy of hydroxyl acids. It also helps boost up the immune system. However, it may cause itching, rash, wheezing and facial swelling, particularly in people with asthma or allergies.
