The rule is simple.

If you want to be beautiful, you have to earn it. But such rule does not simply come as if earning it without the much needed effort to go the extra mile. Indeed, beauty and looking beautiful has a price. True as it is, the part of the body that can be spotted easily is the face.

This is the major concern of women who are bothered with having an eyebrow that is either unibrow which is a single line of eyebrow or an eyebrow that is thicker than the normal. Of course, there are other spots in the face that should be given due emphasis on grooming and facial care, but a stubbornly thick eyebrow is not a pleasant sight.

But women should worry no more. The cosmetic experts have come up with the idea of eyebrow waxing. Basically, the procedure of waxing as a cosmetic solution of getting rid of unwanted facial hair is purely a simple process. It is just pretty much like peeling a piece of post-it from the bundle. Eyebrow waxing involves the application of hot wax in the eyebrow line that needs definition. When the wax is finally set, it is pulled from the area quickly so that pain is relatively diminished, and along with the wax base comes the unwanted hair from the eyebrow line. As what the beauty experts suggest, defined eyebrow shapes enhances the facial features of a woman. Considering the idea that the eye brow waxing need not be done very often compared to other procedures, the downtime that comes along with the waxing is very small apart from the relatively fair pain.

On the other hand, there is another option for the woman bothered with thick eye brows but yet unwilling to undergo the not so painful waxing procedure. This procedure is called eyebrow threading. The technique of eyebrow threading as a form of defining the eyebrow features of a woman is a technique from China. In a nutshell, it does not only apply to the process of defining the eyebrows but can also be used to get rid of unwanted facial and body hair as well. The process of eyebrow threading uses a piece of cotton thread that is twisted on the hair systematically through a double strand. Technically the twisted thread works on the hair follicle so that the effects is longer lasting and does not harm the sensitive skin area around the eyes the way wax and creams do. For the more beauty maven type of a woman who has a problem with a unibrow, the eyebrow threading technique is highly suggested. It is applicable in raising the eyebrow arch or in simply defining and reshaping the brows.

Similarly, the process of eyebrow plucking does not need much of a budget. Practically the woman can do the eyebrow reshaping on her own right at her own room. The process needs tweezers, the magic wand, so that the hair can be removed one after the other by simply pulling through the follicles. Although the pain is inevitable because of the hair removal process, the person doing the eyebrow plucking can actually control the pulling so that the pain is minimal.
