Tweezers are tools necessary for removing unwanted hair in the most sensitive areas of our body. But it is normally use for eyebrow plucking. Apart from the eyebrows, tweezers can also be used to remove errant hair on the face, body or pubic area.

Tweezers have to be handled properly for it to function accurately and safely.

Tweezers for different uses come in different types. Their tip shapes are diverse including pointed, blunt and tapered. Some tweezer tips are hand-crafted to perfect tip symmetry balance and innovative. This type can pluck hair in thin-skinned areas with precision while blunt tips can grasp more than one hair at a time. Some tweezers are not easy to close as others require just a light touch close effortlessly. Choose tweezers whose tension is tight. This can tire your hand easily. Tweezers that are perfectly aligned can grab and tweeze hair every time safely.

It is imperative to tweeze in the direction of hair growth. And it would be much easier to tweeze after a bath or using hot towel to open pores. Be sure to use the slant side of the tweezer for accuracy. Eyebrow plucking can have an extra care if done this way. Proper eyebrow plucking also will cause less pain and leaves skin smooth for sometime. When done, dab with astringent ort cold water to close skin pores and wait up for a good few minutes before putting on make up.

Choosing the kind of tweezer for your specific need is essential. Accordingly some people would go for models that are suitable on what they are planning to tweeze. So they pick regular models or a smaller tweezer for travel and still some would go for the electric tweezers projected to damage hair roots to hinder new hair from growing on the same root. But tweezers with an accompanying magnifying lens are great when there is a need to get up closer.

To get the accurate results, it is not enough that you tweeze hair by jerking or grabbing hair. This way it can become painful. Redness or infections might set in. So before eyebrow plucking, be sure that the skin should be clean and dry. Wipe tips of tweezers clean as well as after using it. After use always replace the protective cap on tweezer tips to avoid damaging the tips. As always do not drop tweezers. This will cause misalignment of the tweezer tips and eventually get damaged.

You have to take note that spring tension of tweezers can be bigger by slowly pulling the two halves of the tweezer. This way a pair of tweezers with light or tight tension greatly affects the grip and sometimes tight tension can tire hands simply. The point is a comfortable pair of tweezers with the right tip is as crucial to eyebrow plucking as a good lip brush creates luscious lips.
