Being bald is sometimes not a choice. For most people who have thinning hair, they often opt to go bald instead of looking like their hair is falling off. This choice is usually taken by men compared to women.
For those who choose to go bald in spite of having a full head of hair, they often do this to go with a certain trend or to make a statement. Older people are prone to hair loss and having bald spots compared to younger ones. Receding hairline and baldness can also be a genetic trait that is passed down from one generation to another. Whether you choose to go bald or you have no other choice, you still have to take care of your head especially now that it is a bald head. Some people think that a bald head is easier to take care of than a full head of hair but sometimes, it requires more attention. Despite not having hair, bald heads need some kind of shampoo with a skin conditioner to make the head less susceptible to damage caused by being hairless. Our heads have very sensitive skin and have plenty of capillaries and nerve endings which serve to make them sensitive to touch and other elements. A bald head needs to be protected from heat, direct sunlight and extreme cold. The use of a special shampoo to wash the exposed head can help to condition your head and the skin on your head. Other people use soap with lots of moisturizers to condition and wash their bald head and make it less dry. Exposure to cold weather and heat can often make our skin dry and susceptible to skin rashes and other skin diseases. Bald people also need to use a hat during sunny days or better yet put on sun block to help regulate sun exposure. Exposure to the direct rays of the sun can affect bald people because they do not have the protection f the hair anymore. Heat stroke and sunburn is one of the prime results of exposing a bald head to the sun. Sunburn can be very painful and sensitive to touch whereas heat stroke can be lethal to older people. Since it is usually older people who go bald or have thinning hair, then they have to tale care of their heads. The use of the right kinds of shampoo and soap can help eliminate possibilities of skin diseases in a bald head but a hat and sun block are usually the only defense a bald head can have against the sun and cold. The loss of hair and baldness is often seen as a bane for most people although some have embraced baldness as a convenient way of not having a hairstyle to maintain and look after. For those who have not fully embraced having a bald head, they can opt for a wig or a hat to cover up their baldness. In spite of this, you will still need to take care of your hairless head by cleaning it with a shampoo wash or a soap wash.
