There are some people who are blessed with natural high cheekbones while some people need some help for them to accentuate their cheekbones to be more beautiful. That is why applying blush, as part of their makeup is very important to some. Not all women nowadays apply blush, but some who do are applying it incorrectly.


Wearing blush together with the makeup can make the face appear colorless or washed out.

One of the few important questions that most women have in mind in selecting blush is what kind of color they should get. It can be a very difficult task if you really do not have the natural eye for color. There are few simple things that can actually guide you in making the right color decision. First is, try to get into a physical activity or some exercise. Getting physical brings out your natural color in your cheeks. Another way is by pinching your cheeks for about two or three seconds. The color that appears in your cheeks will help you decide what kind of blush you need

The second step that you need to do in order to have a beautiful blush is for you to decide what kind of color that needs to be purchased. There are a lot of blush that can be purchased in any department store or drugstore such as cream, gel, tint blushes, and powders. Your skin condition will dictate what type of blush you have to buy. Here are some different kinds of blush that can be bought in the market:

Cream blushes are best for women with dry skin because it is rich in moisturizing ingredients. They can be applied with your fingertips.

Gel blushes give a translucent shine and are good to people who has oily to normal skin types. It is best applied with your fingertips and it dries fast.

Tint blushes dries quickly, so you have to apply the blush fast and apply it correctly without any mishaps or streaks. It will last until you wash your face and are least user-friendly.

Powder blushes are called universal blush for it can be used by most skin types. Powder blushes are best in keeping the color last.

By the time you already have the idea of the different kinds of blushes, you can now then apply the product into your face. You make sure to put your foundations first then your powder and your eye shadow then your eye liner and then the mascara. Blush is called the finishing touch. By the time you are already done with your makeup, you can now see how much blush needs to be applied.
