Most of us have to experience wrinkles when our skin starts to age to some extent.



There is no legitimate answer as to how or why they develop and there is no other preventive measure than to have a good hygienic habit as well as healthy lifestyle. However, wrinkles still grow even though how much effort we provide to thwarting them away. The best that we can do is hope that our activity may not contribute to pimple development and, possibly, an infection.

Evidence as to how and why people develop wrinkles has been traditionally linked to the connection of family genetics.



If your parents or grandparents have a history of wrinkle development, chances are, you’ll be getting your time to have wrinkles also. However, there may be cases that a wrinkle develops once we lavish ourselves with seemingly stressful activities, overeating of fatty foods, uncontrollable attitude and even prescribed drugs that have skin side effects. There are preventive measures nowadays that some skin experts or dermatologists have come up but it’s your choice to provide the effort to prevent wrinkle development. Wrinkles are natural progression when our skin starts aging.

Preventive Measures

The most common wrinkle prevention is through the process of hygiene and prophylactic skin care. Basically, all you have to do is wash the wrinkle-affected area using a mild soap and not those that have chemically-enriched compounds that could worsen the case. Other preventive measures can also be with the use of a daily moisturizer. This will help moisten your skin and leaves it hydrated and smooth-looking. Other than that, never wash your face or use daily moisturizer excessively since this will make your face dehydrated and is susceptible to acquiring wrinkly elements instead of preventing the outcome.

A skin, which is wrinkle-prone, should be taken away from the use of heavy makeup, especially those that are based on heavy-fatty compounds that could lead to getting a heavy case of wrinkles. Instead of going through all those fashion-wise effects, apply cosmetics that are friendly for your wrinkle-prone skin. Also, drink enough water to give your skin the elasticity to counteract the cause of wrinkles. This will also provide the smoothness and suppleness of your skin for a healthier look.

Another cause of wrinkle development is the prescribed medications, especially for pregnant women who need contraceptives. It would be best to inquire about any possible skin side effect this medication brings to prevent the production of wrinkles. A licensed gynecologist should be able to do the job.

The last, but definitely not the least, is to reduce fatty-food intake and eat healthy combinations of fruits, vegetables and other foods that can help develop healthier skin.
