Feel the Difference with the Right Facial Mask

What is this mask used in beauty regimens? The mask in question is either a gel type or in forms of wet tissues or wipes placed on the face for a few minutes.



If you are unsure of its possible reaction on your face, then try a homemade facemask instead. This will be all natural and from there if you’re confident no allergic reactions may occur with the ones in the market then buy one.

Dry skin. Avocados and orange juice can be incorporated to make a facemask along with other fresh ingredients. Just follow the instructions listed below:

2 ounces fresh avocados 1 tsp molasses
1-ounce orange juice 5 drops chamomile essential oil
1 tsp acacia honey

Place these ingredients in a blender to mash them or just use a big bowl for mashing manually.



Once the paste is made, apply on the face and the neck with your fingers. Leave on for 30 minutes or longer. Using a warm flannel, rinse off the mask leaving your skin moisturized and feeling healthy. The flannel not only rinses the mask off but will also exfoliate. The leftovers (if there are any) can be left in the refrigerator for another day or two.

Sensitive skin
. This homemade honey face mask is applicable. To start, just warm a small pot of honey or crock pot in a double boiler. Once you get the desired comfortable temperature, apply a generous amount of the mixture on your face, leave for 15 minutes and rise with warm water then cool water. A feeling of freshness is felt after each use.

Oily skin
. An egg white mask is applicable to those with oily skin since the aforementioned facemasks may enhance your oily skin instead of inhibiting it. Here’ are the ingredients and procedures:

1 egg white whisked in a bowl (until peaks stiffen)
Add 6 drops of witch hazel, mix
6 drops of lemon juice, mix

Apply the egg white mixture onto face and leave for 15mins before rinsing thoroughly with warm water. This is will inhibit the oily skin without drying the face.

Sunburned, Damaged, or Sensitive Skin
. A butter face mask is useful since butter is a good source of vitamin A. For this facemask, a tablespoon of unsalted butter is use added with a large mashed up strawberries. For a normal to dry skin, a 1 inch slice of cucumber is pushed through a sieve. For oily skin, a tablespoon of lemon is used. For dry skin, 1 egg yolk is used. In a bowl beat the butter with the chosen ingredient. Apply the mixture onto face and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with a warm washcloth.

Using facial masks is a great substitute to other company made products. Just be sure to know which are best for your skin type to avoid allergic reactions.
