Our lips is actually the part of our body that draws attention whenever we talk, smile, and even if we lick them.



Since this is a part, which people notices, you should think of something to take care of it. Our lips don’t just do the talking, with proper lip care; it can be a way for you to increase your charm, confidence and poise.

To some degree, most people don’t really have enough time to worry about what happens to their lips.



But, you should know this that our lips are one of the most delicate and flimsy part of our body that should be treated not just with attention but also action. Unattended lips could dry, crack and even chap. But you can always do something on how to take care of your lips form now on.

Smoking –
this is a habit that needs to be getting rid of. It does not only harm your lungs but it can also be damaging to your lips, teeth and can kill healthy cells. Plus, it can discolor your lips natural color and instead replaces a tobacco stained color that can really pose unattractiveness.

Hydration –
you may already know this part but here still, here goes; drink lots of water, or the recommended daily intake, more than any other fluids like alcohol or caffeine that you have been drinking. If it’s not enough, you can always apply lip balm on regular basis to keep those lips of your hydrated and moisturized. You should be the one that provides the essential fluid for your lips since it does not produce its own oil for natural moisture.

Other than your saliva, keep your lips protected with the use of wax-based balms and glosses to keep them on a healthy pose. You can also use petroleum jelly products. These are the essential that provides your lips that healthier glow instead of dried, chapped and cracked lips.

Stay away from heat –
hot shower, baths and sun are typically not healthy for your lips. These elements can cause damage to those lips of yours by generating dryness and extracting the moisture that is essential for skin health. If you are in a beach, you can always apply a lip-gloss or lip balm with a SPF of 15 or more to protect your lips from the sun’s rays. Your lips need your attention even on winter season, since the sunlight reflection from the snow can provide damage to your lips. You would then know what to do in what your lips need more than just a concern that you might get chapped or dried lips.
