Shingles skin rash can result into complications as well. Therefore, the case of shingles skin rashes without any complication can be called the best. In shingles, skin rash the virus varicella-zoster that is present in the body of the people who have suffered from chicken pox in their childhood becomes active.
The external symptoms shown by it include rashes on some parts of the body for example head, neck, back, etc. the skin in these regions has a feeling of burning, tingling, numbness, sensitiveness., itching which leads to strong pain, etc. moreover, other symptoms include development of blisters, fever, headache, stomach upset, etc.
Medications are available for shingles skin rash. Though they work slowly, they are effective. They cannot cure it completely however they reduce the infection and they effectively relieve the patient from its symptoms.
However, in some cases Shingles skin rash develops becomes severe or develops complications. The common complications that have been observed scarring, hearing loss, bacterial infection, effect on vision, paralysis on some part of the face, muscle weakness, nerve pain for a long term (postherpetic neuralgia) and allodynia in which the skin becomes so sensitive that even a slightest touch like breeze over clothes can cause severe pain.
