It is not clear exactly what the problem with your skin is - spots and patches could be of many different kinds, and depending on their size, color, shape, and several other characteristics, the diagnosis will differ, and therefore so will the treatment.
First of all, you should take a look at your diet and make sure that it contains balanced amounts of all the necessary nutrients; a good diet is essential for good skin. You should also make sure that you drink enough water daily - in general, eight to 10 glasses of water a day is a good amount of water to drink, although it will vary depending on the amount of physical activity and your environment. You should also avoid too much exposure to sunlight, as this can damage the skin. Some amount of sunlight is of course necessary, or other problems will arise. As with your diet, balance is essential - do not go overboard in either direction.
You should also wash your face several times a day, but with a mild soap, and use soap only for a couple of washes. Applying a mixture of honey, lemon juice, and turmeric powder to your skin for half an hour every night should also help. You can also use an oatmeal and milk scrub every night, and then rinse your face lightly with rose water.
If your problem is particularly severe or shows no improvement after a couple of months, you should visit a skin specialist.
