We all love to flaunt skin, especially when it looks and feels beautiful. And nature does provide us with the means to own such skin. Let's begin with water: Drink plenty of it. Ideally, eight to ten glasses of pure clean water is the recommended dosage. Water flushes out the toxins in the body and helps nurture a supple skin texture. You can include cucumbers in your natural skin care regime. Cut the cucumbers into thin slices and leave them on your face for say 15 minutes or so. Apart from the cooling effect that they impart to your skin, cucumbers also act as a skin-tightening agent.
You might also want to go on a diet that involves wholesome natural foods. This diet can include fruits such as grapes, oranges, and melons. Further, increase your intake of leafy green vegetables and see to it that you include in your diet as well. Leafy green vegetables and nuts are a source of folic acid. Folic acid helps in improving the texture of skin. Also, avoid polished rice. Needless to say, try and avoid aerated drinks and alcoholic beverages. Further, if you love tea and coffee, you will be well off if you give them up.
