A number of anti-aging creams are available that help slow down or reduce the effects of aging on skin. These creams usually contain a number of natural ingredients that, by themselves, can also be used effectively. One of the most effective vegetables that you can use to combat the signs of aging is tomato. Mash the tomato into a pulp. To this pulp add around 50 ml. of lemon juice and mix both the ingredients well. Dab the mixture all over your face and let your skin soak in it for around 15 to 20 minutes. You can then wash it off your face with warm water. This mixture is known to impart a youthful glow to skin.
This apart, you can also try natural face scrubs that help exfoliate skin and give a youthful tone to it. One such scrub consists of sugar, lemon and a dash or two of honey. Apply this face scrub to your face as often as possible. The honey in this scrub acts as a moisturizer and provides the much-needed nutrients for your skin. As for the lemon, it serves the purpose of refreshing the skin. You can also apply carrot oil. Carrot oil is known to tone the skin up and enhance its texture, thus making it look young in its appearance.
