Oily skin is generally more susceptible to acne and pimples, and therefore requires more care and attention. Follow a daily skin care program to control sebum levels and reduce oiliness. Most cosmetic products meant for oily skin tend to leave your skin dry and flaky. I would suggest that you use natural skin care products to help to reduce natural oil levels. Use a face scrub made out of gram flour, lemon juice, and sugar. Using this face scrub will help to exfoliate your skin and eliminate excess oil. Make a home made facial tonic, using few drops of orange lemon juice. This tonic ensures soft and oil free skin. Steam your face at least once a week and use a face pack made out of fuller's earth and egg white. Fullers earth helps to draw out excess oil and sebum, while egg whites tighten your pores. Oily skin attracts dust and grime. Carry a small bottle of lemon juice in your hand bag and use it to wipe away grime, as often as needed.
Make sure that you have a balanced diet that includes fruits and vegetables. Cut down on junk food, and oily foods in general. Minimize your intake of white flour foods like white bread, noodles, pasta, etc.
