When the uppermost layer of your skin is dry, it loses its elasticity. This causes a stretching sensation often accompanied by a mild itching or irritation. If the itching is intense, visit a dermatologist as it is possible that you have a dry skin disease (fungal). Follow a regular skin care routine and try to use natural products instead of cosmetic ones.
You can use a facial scrub made out of honey and sugar. This face scrub will help to exfoliate the upper dry layer of dull skin while nourishing the soft new layer below it. Honey contains antioxidants that help to prevent the loss of skin elasticity. Use a nourishing face mask made out of egg yolk, fresh cream and a little mashed banana at least once a week. This mask will help to replenish lost nutrients and keep your skin glowing. Do not wash your face with hot water as this will wash away the skin's natural oils. Instead wash your face with lukewarm or cold water. Make a natural moisturizer out of a few drops of olive oil and a drop or two of coconut oil. Use this moisturizer after your daily bath to keep your skin moisturized and smooth.
