As the name suggests, combination skin consists of oily skin and dry skin. Usually, the oily skin covers the forehead, the nose and the skin. The dry skin makes up the rest of the face. This type of skin is very common and usually occurs due to hormonal imbalances and stress. Such skin needs a balanced diet for a healthy complexion. So, leafy green vegetables such as spinach, celery, cabbage, and cauliflower and fruits such as grapes, apples, bananas, oranges, etc should be included in your diet.
Combination skin needs two different type of treatment: one for the t-zone (forehead, nose, and the chin) and the other for the rest. The t-zone you can cleanse and moisturize by applying a mix of lime juice and cucumber extracts. For the dry skin, you can prepare and use a cleanser or a rejuvenator that consists of egg yolk, orange juice, olive oil, and a few drops of rose water and lime juice. Apply this concoction on the dry portion of the skin in the morning 15 minutes before you step into the shower. Lastly, remember to drink plenty of water-about eight or ten glasses-to nurture a smooth complexion for such skin.
