Best Skin Care Regimen

Skin care is quite a flourishing industry these days. There are skin creams, face creams, moisturizers, etc., etc. released practically every fortnight. Then there are skin care treatments offered by skin care clinics. These skin care treatments are said to be tailor-made to suit the requirements of different skin types. You yourself can plan a skin care regimen based on your skin type and follow it faithfully. Mother Nature provides enough of raw material for a skin care regimen for all skin types. For example, oily skin can be taken care of by using a paste of ground almond and honey. This paste acts as a scrub and removes the excess oil deposited on the skin.

On the other hand, people with dry skin might find cornstarch and oatmeal to be of great help. Cornstarch helps to tone up dry skin while oatmeal acts as a nourishing agent. Oatmeal contains vitamin E that is known to be of vital importance to the skin. In addition to this, dry skin smoothens up if you massage a handful of salt onto it just before you step into the shower. Besides these remedies, a healthy balanced diet is always recommended. Such a diet will involve leaves of celery and green peas and vegetables that qualify just because they are green. Leafy green vegetables are known to provide vitamins A and C, iron, calcium and a numerous other nutrients that nourish the body and in turn help in keeping your skin healthy. Lastly, water just has to be given its due. Drink a lot of it-at least eight to ten glasses every day. It's the best wholesome toxic purifier and of course, it's free.
