Tips to avoid warts by limiting physical contact with people having warts

I have small bumps all over my face, they started just on my forehead. They usually just flesh colored and raised. I am on tetracycline for adult acne. I wash with salicylic acid.

Since you are already on medication for acne these bumps seem like something related to acne. You should consult your doctor and seek his opinion on the bumps. Are they painful? Do they seem to be getting larger or have they remained the same size since you first noticed them? If these bumps are not acne, then they could be warts. Warts are skin colored bumps which appear on the hands and feet though they can appear anywhere on the body. These are a type of skin infection and are caused by viruses of the human papillomavirus. Warts usually are painless and are not harmful to the health. They also have the tendency to clear up by themselves. Warts can be recognized by the fact that they are small and fleshy, usually flesh colored and rough to touch. Warts are contagious and if you share a towel or other clothing used by someone who has warts you are likely to get some warts too. Although warts do, generally disappear on their own, they are also likely to bleed and cause pain. For this reason you should get rid of the warts as soon as possible.

You can avoid getting warts by limiting your physical contact with people suffering from warts. You should also make it a point to not use their personal items like clothes and towels and soaps. Scratching the area close to the wart may actually cause the infection to spread other parts of your body and should be avoided. You can try some home remedies for your warts. You can grind some coriander leaves and make a poultice for the warts. Another very effective poultice requires you to grind cumin seeds and apply this on the moles. Apply this on the warts. Regular application of the juice of onions is believed to help get rid of warts. However, you should apply this juice regularly, in order for it to be effective. Mix a small amount of baking soda and some drops of castor oil and apply this paste on the moles and help get rid of them. The juice of a fresh pineapple is also very effective in getting rid of warts. You can also use a slice of pineapple on your warts.

Grind the roasted peel of a pomegranate. Mix equal quantities of the powder with lemon juice and apply this on the warts. A fresh grapefruit is another very effective remedy for warts since the application of its juice helps you to get rid of the moles.
