Shampoo and conditioner for curly, dry and rough hair

My hair type is curly, looks wavy and very rough. I tried shampoos and conditioners made for my type of hair. But, no result. Which shampoo, conditioner and home remedies for soft straight hair?

There are a few home remedies you can employ to make your hair healthy and soft. As far as straightening your hair goes, you would have to make do with temporary measures in order to straighten your hair. You should be aware that whatever hair type you are born with will remain with you. There is no way of changing the basic nature of your hair. The use of straightening irons and blow dryers can actually achieve this effect for you. But you should also be aware that if used on a permanent basis, these will make your hair even more rough and coarse. Dryers usually tend to add frizz to your hair as well. And the effect of straightening your hair will only last until the next time you wash it. So basically, every time you wash your hair, the straightening procedure of using an iron or a blow dryer will have to be repeated all over again. You may want to get your hair bonded as well. This is also a straightening procedure which works very well for some people. But in a lot of cases, there has been a tremendous amount of hair fall accompanied with the bonding procedure. You may want to get in touch with and ask someone who has tried this before you opt for it. There is no doubt that hair bonding will give you permanently straight hair. But keep in mind that when your hair grows out, it will grow in its normal way again.

In order to get soft hair, you should try to provide adequate nourishment to your hair. Unless you have naturally coarse hair, about which nothing can be done, you can use home made conditioners to soften and nourish your hair quite easily and well. The best one is to use henna powder. Take two tablespoons of henna powder, a teaspoon of coffee powder, a few drops of lime juice and a whole egg. Make a pasty mixture with this and apply to your strands and roots. If it is too thick, you can add enough milk to reach the consistency you require. Another excellent method is to take two egg yolks, whip them with a teaspoon of olive oil and apply generously to your hair. Try to use henna not more than about once a month. And you can use egg yolks twice a week. You can also use beer to condition your hair.
