Tips for growing long hair

I am wanting to have long hairs I have shoulder length hairs, please suggest hair care tips for growing long hairs, I will be very much grateful to you!

There are several ways to encourage good hair growth at home. One of the best ways is to have a proper hair care routine in place. In any case, it is always a good practice to have a hair care routine in place so that your hair is healthy and well looked after. Long hair in particular, requires a routine of care for it to be healthy and not look shabby or unkempt. You should make it a rule to get your hair trimmed every eight to ten weeks. This will keep your hair strands stronger and will also not allow fro split ends to occur. A weekly routine of conditioning with oil should also be followed strictly. This is important because hair oil will nourish your hair and not let it fall easily. Apply the oil of coconut, lavender, almond or castor for best results. You can leave the oil overnight and wash it off the next morning as usual. Before washing, you should try to apply a hot wrap to your hair. This will allow your pores to open up and make the oil go in deeply into your scalp, thus ensuring even and proper nourishment for your hair. All you have to do is take a hot towel and cover your head with it.

You must also condition your hair with henna once in three months. This will take care of any nutrition you may have missed out on giving your hair and scalp. Make a paste with four heaped tablespoons of henna powder, once whole egg and enough water to allow for the consistency. It should be easily spreadable and you should be able to apply it to your hair and scalp evenly. Take care that there are no lumps of any kind. You can also use a simple rinse made by boiling a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in two glasses of water till it is reduced to half. This water can be sued for a good rinse and it also encourages hair growth. A good way to encourage hair growth is also to add carrots to your diet. Make it a rule to eat at least six to ten carrots a day and you will see that your hair has become stronger and longer over time. These are all practices you will have to incorporate as a part of your daily lifestyle, rather than employ momentarily for immediate results.
