Home Remedies for Dry Hair
For dry hair, you simply need to find a suitable shampoo and conditioner. In addition, it might help to oil your hair regularly, in case your scalp is not producing enough natural oil. First try combing your hair a couple of times a day — this coats the hair with the sebum that is naturally produced by the scalp. If this does not help within a week or two, you can start massaging olive oil or pure coconut oil into your scalp every alternate day, about an hour before you wash your hair. You need a shampoo for dry hair, but use sachets or the smallest packs available till you find one that suits your hair. Every shampoo for dry hair might not suit your scalp and hair. Do the same with the conditioner.
In addition, you need to make sure that your diet is healthy and balanced. One's diet has an impact on hair growth, both directly and by influencing the general state of one's health. Make sure that you get enough carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, as well as all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Avoid an excess of anything, but particularly oily food, coffees, and colas. Within a month, you should be able to notice a decrease in hair loss and an improvement in the texture of your hair.
