It is not clear whether you are actually referring to veins or to wrinkles on your hands, as it is extremely unlikely that veins in your hands will actually form a visible and prominent network in the same way that wrinkles do. It is possible though for several veins in the hands to be visible, and although this is not harmful, many people don't like the way this looks. However, both the appearance of wrinkles on your hands and the increasing prominence of veins are natural changes that occur as part of the aging process, and there is not a lot that you can do about them. There are things that you can do to limit this effect, but it is not possible to completely get rid of either veins or wrinkles.

The hands and the face are the two areas that are most prone to the effects of aging, and are generally acknowledged to be the biggest giveaways of your age. Many people who undergo cosmetic surgery to get rid of facial wrinkles, loose skin, and other age related problems, are still unable to fully hide their age because their hands give it away. This happens partly because when we are young, there is more fat under the skin, which obscures the veins. This layer of fat and other tissue decreases with age, and in addition the skin itself becomes thicker. To add to this, there is all the damage that skin suffers, due to the effects of pollution and sunlight. Veins also usually grow bigger as we grow older, and become less elastic too. All these factors combine to give rise to the problem that you seem to be experiencing.

Simply drinking water is not going to solve your problem, especially if you are talking about veins rather than wrinkles. Proper hydration can keep your skin from ageing too fast, but it cannot completely stop aging, and it can do very little to hide your veins. It will help to some extent, but in addition you should protect your skin from excessive exposure to sunlight, as well as from pollution and unnecessary chemicals. You should also avoid smoking - this is a constant aggravating factor with health and skin problems. A proper diet will also help to some extent - it will keep your skin healthy and also minimize the tissue loss that occurs with age. Finally however, this is a superficial problem and therefore you should avoiding worrying too much about it.
