Pimples can be gotten rid of quite easily, although not quickly, but it is not clear exactly what black spot you are talking about. If you have a single black spot that has appeared, then you should probably visit a skin specialist for a proper examination. Such a problem should be properly diagnosed and treated as soon as possible. However, if you are simply referring to the dark spots that are often left behind by pimples, then you have no need to worry. These are a kind of hyperpigmentation that often occurs in the aftermath of pimples and they do not last very long. They gradually fade, and within a couple of months should disappear completely. If you want, you can use some simple home remedies such as applying a mixture of honey, turmeric powder, and sandalwood powder on your skin daily. This is thought to help the dark spots to fade, and in addition, it is also sometimes helpful against pimples. Lemon juice is also thought to be beneficial for both these problems, and can be added to the mixture mentioned above, or else applied by itself. Be sure to wash off the lemon juice thoroughly however, and if you are using the two separately, preferably apply the lemon first and the honey treatment second. You should of course note that these treatments do not work quickly - they will only marginally speed up the fading away of the dark spots.

For the pimples themselves, the best treatment is a commercially available anti pimple cream that contains either benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These ingredients help the skin to get rid of dead cells more efficiently. Accumulation of dead skin cells is one of the primary reasons for the formation of pimples, as these dead cells block the skin's pores. The sebaceous glands that are connected to these pores continue to produce sebum, which builds up and forms a pimple. In addition, this sebum is often attacked by bacteria that are normally present on the skin's surface, leading to infection and inflammation. The anti pimple cream also helps prevent the bacteria from attacking the pimples.

As with the marks left by the pimples, the pimples themselves take a long time to disappear. It can take several months for the anti pimple cream to work, and new pimples will continue to form during this period. You should however continue to use the cream regularly, and you will eventually find relief from your problem.
