How to dye blonde hair back to brunette

I currently have dyed blonde hair and would like to dye it back to brunette? What are the best ways to do this without it turning brassy?

The best and most obvious way to change your hair color from any type of coloring to any type of coloring is to let the dyed hair grow out completely. This will be your best option as well. In your case, however, you have not mentioned the actual and natural color of your hair. This would also make a difference. There is a simple scientific explanation you should keep in mind while dying or changing the color of your hair dye. If you have naturally dark hair, it is relatively difficult to put a lighter color over it. If you have naturally light hair, it becomes relatively easier to put a darker color to cover it. If you keep both these things in mind, you will be the better judge of how to best go about coloring your hair. You should also be aware that the brassy results you do not want can also often be a result of using a hair dye that is not so superior in terms of quality. You should also try your best to make certain that you do not switch brands while changing the color of your hair. This will also make a positive difference in the process.

Generally speaking, however, brunette should be an easy color to convert to. It pretty much has the capacity to cover everything else. But you should still follow a basic rule. That is, you should first try to remove the blond color on your hair strands. Remember that if you can remove one hair dye, it becomes simpler and quicker to add another color to your locks. So the first thing you would need to do is bleach your hair out of the former blond color that is already on it. Remember that this is your best bet only if you cannot wait for your dyed hair to grow out into whatever natural color you have. Once you have removed your hair dye, it is also advisable that you leave the hair free to breathe easily for about two days. This will also allow your hair to be free of dye removing bleach based chemicals. After two days, you can try to dye your hair. If the results are still brassy, as opposed to glossy and brunette, then you will know that this method has worked perfectly for you. If not, you can wait another couple of days and dye your hair again.
