Diet for Healthy Hair

The first thing to do in order to attain healthy, lustrous hair is simple, cheap, and easy, Drink water! Lots of it. Drink at least 10-12 glasses a day and do not use substitutes like colas, coffee, or flavored water. Stick to plain, unflavored water that is pure. Along with increasing your water consumption cut down on black tea, coffee, aerated beverages, and alcohol.

In order to have healthy hair that is not prone to breakage it is important to have a protein-rich diet. If you are a non-vegetarian eat lean meats like chicken and turkey. Fish is also a good source of various nutrients and fatty acids. Eggs, eaten in moderation, can also satisfy certain protein needs.  If you are a vegetarian increase your consumption of nuts, grains, lentils and soy. Low fat yogurt is also a good source of protein for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Along with protein you also need to have an adequate intake of vitamins A, B, C, E, and K. Many fruits and vegetables are rich in all of these. Include a healthy helping of oranges, beans, peas, green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, cauliflower, cucumbers, carrots, avocadoes, and whole grains in your diet to ensure that you have ample amounts of these. Avoid overcooking vegetables and abstain from fruit that has been cooked or processed in any form to maximize the nutrients available from these sources.

For healthy hair protein is very important. Yogurt, fish, eggs, beans are high in protein.

Calcium, iron and silica are also important for hair growth. Green leafy vegetables are good as minerals, dried fruits and cherries are good as iron and for silica raw oats, potato, cucumber is beneficial.

Adding lot of fruits and vegetables is good for hair growth.

If avocado, seeds, nuts, olive oil is added in diet, is better for vitamin E which is required for hair growth.

Overall if you have balanced diet it will help you for healthy hair.

Avoiding outside, oily, junk food is beneficial. Keep yourself tension free

Do not think much about hair loss.

Besides diet use of oil massage would be complementary.
