Cleaning face with pores and blackheads

My face looks oily, has large pores and these pores are covered with blackheads and whiteheads. So how can I cure it? I want to know how to clean and how to treat by natural methods. Thanks.

The problems that you have described are quite common problems with facial skin. The fundamental problem here is the excessive oiliness - it is because of the oiliness that you tend to develop blackheads and whiteheads. For some reason, your sebaceous glands are overactive, and are producing more oil than is needed. These glands are under your skin and produce an oily, protective substance known as sebum. Sebum is a natural lubricant and moisturizer, and it is in a certain way good to have oily skin, as such skin stays soft and moist, and therefore does not develop wrinkles as easily as dry or even normal skin. However, the downside is the problems that you mention - blackheads and whiteheads, and in a number of cases pimples too.

Fortunately, this is not a severe problem and is quite easily handled, although it may take some time for you to find the right balance - many people, in the course of trying to get rid of oiliness, end up with dry skin, and some even end up with still oilier skin. One important thing is to wash the skin frequently - this will help clear away dead skin cells as well as oil, as both of them are responsible for the blackheads and whiteheads. What happens is that dead cells accumulate on the surface of your skin, and together with the oil, they block pores. The sebaceous glands under your skin continue to produce sebum, but since the pore is blocked, the sebum simply builds up under your skin, forming what we call a whitehead. Sometimes, the oil and dead cells in the pore start to get oxidized and become black, and this is known as a blackhead.

When washing the skin, resist the temptation to use a soap that completely dries your skin - this sometimes causes the skin to compensate for the dryness by producing more sebum. Instead, use a regular soap, but scrub your face thoroughly (not roughly). Several times a day, you should also wash your face with plain water. In addition, you can use a toner to get rid of excess oil as well as dead cells. You can scrub your face with honey and turmeric powder every morning - this too is very effective. Do not use moisturizers - your skin does not need them - and avoid using make up as far as possible. As for the large pores, there isn't really any way to shrink them or get rid of them, but the measures described above will make them less prominent.
