Natural Treatment for Dark Circles

Dark circles are normally a result of excessive eye strain. Your eyes can get strained due to reading in poor light or while reclining, tension or stress of any kind, lack of sleep and adequate rest or overuse of eyes in front of the computer or any other kind of electronic screen. You may determine the reasons that apply to you and eliminate them to begin with. There are some Simple things you can do at home in order to reduce dark circles as well. Apply a pulp of tomato with a few drops of lemon juice added to it. This will help in reducing the darkness of skin as both these products are natural bleach. Do remember to apply sunscreen before going out if you follow this remedy. One of the oldest home remedies for dark circles is to apply tincture of iodine to them. This will reduce them, although this takes a long time. Another effective way to moisturize dark skin and make it more supple and easy to maintain is to apply milk cream to it. Add a couple of drops of castor oil or almond oil to the cream to make the skin soft as well. Make a juice of crushed cucumber or potatoes and apply beneath the eyes. Drink a lot of water for bright and clear eyes.
