The first step towards getting rid of a rash of any size or color is to know what it is and what causes it. Rashes can indicate anything, right from allergies to an abrasion caused due to too much scratching. Reddening of rashes is not all that uncommon and it may mean something in particular or just may be a discoloration caused due to the nature of your skin. if you go to a doctor with your rash, you would be in a better position to not only determine what it is; you will also be able to get a cure for it if it is something dangerous or infectious. You can also try to adopt some simple measures to take care of rashes. However, please keep in mind that while this may take care of your rash topically, you would still have to reach the root of the problem to get rid of it altogether. The first thing you must do is sanitize the area on and around the rash. This is particularly important in case you are suffering from an infectious rash of some sort. Rubbing ethyl alcohol on the rash will take care of the problem. It will also ensure that you do not suffer from any burning sensation. Alternately, you can also use diluted hydrogen peroxide to sanitize and clean the area. You would need to use a dilution of one part of hydrogen peroxide and one part of water to do this.

In order to get rid of the rash, you can begin with dabbing on some diluted tea tree oil to it. Dilute a drop of tea tree oil with a teaspoon of olive oil. Tea tree oil has anti fungal as well as anti septic properties. The olive oil has extra healing powers which will help in case the rash is just a surface problem. If this is an allergic reaction of some kind, you can improve the situation by boosting your immunity. For this, take a dose of either Echinacea or Indian gooseberry every day. Both these products can help to improve your immunity and they are both easily available in any store that sells natural and organic foods. A topical application of turmeric powder mixed with rose water can take care of almost any skin ailment. If you are suffering from something like rosacea, then you should work on moisturizing your skin deeply with olive or coconut oil.
