You have not mentioned your age, which makes it very difficult to determine whether what you are facing is a normal occurrence or something out of the ordinary. If you are a teenager, then you should know that pimples occurring quite suddenly and rampantly are a very normal thing to happen at your age. More than anything else, pimples during the teen years are a manifestation of hormonal upheavals and changes that occur in the body as part of the normal growing up process. Naturally, what you eat and your lifestyle has a little bit of a contribution as well. But you should remember that changing your diet and lifestyle will only make a marginal difference. If you have the kind of skin prone to acquiring pimples, then you will get them, no matter what. Controlling your diet will only make some difference. Even if you are past teenage, you will find that the recommendations given below will help to clear up any sudden bouts of pimples. In any and all cases, you should remember that taking care of your skin will always yield good results. To begin with, follow a procedure of cleansing your skin thoroughly. Milk is the best cleanser for this purpose. You can simply dab it on to cotton and cleanse your face with it. You should do this about two to three times a day. This will at least ensure that there is no excessive dirt lying around on your skin, and that your pores are breathing easier. Make it a point to exfoliate your skin at least twice a week to begin with, you can move to once a week after your pimples have abated somewhat. You can make your own scrub with grainily ground walnuts and olive oil (for dry to normal skin) or yogurt (for oily skin). Scrub your face till the granules of walnuts go soft. This will remove a layer of dead skin from your face and will also open up your pores and not allow oily deposits to remain within, thus clogging your skin. This is a major reason for development of pimples as well. You should avoid eating oily, fried, processed and excessively spicy food, as these are all causes for unhealthy skin. Make it a point to also get in at least eight hours of uninterrupted sleep daily. This will also work wonders on your skin. A combination of these methods should take care of your pimples over time.
