Wearing glasses regularly may leave marks on the nose where it touches the skin. Constant touch with the nose pads of the glasses causes hyperpigmentation of the skin and they appear as black spots. As a permanent remedy, replace your glasses with contact lenses. The marks should gradually fade away once you have stopped wearing glasses. However, if you do not want to use contact lenses, you can try wearing glasses with extra soft nose pads so that they exert minimum pressure on the skin. Also, choose glasses that are very light weight so as to minimize pressure. Light weight glasses with soft nose padding should be easily available in the stores. It will also be helpful if you make a habit of removing your glasses at regular intervals in a day and gently massage the place on the nose where there are marks. Dark spots like this are very common among people who wear glasses and unless the black marks are very prominent there is no need for concern. They generally fade or become darker according to the use of glasses.

For your benefit, outlined here are a few common remedies that you can easily try out at home. Make a habit of washing your face daily with a mild soap followed by application of a moisturizing cream concentrating on the places where the black marks occur. Do this regularly, preferably 2-3 times a day. Apply slices of freshly cut raw potato or tomato on the marks. Rubbing slices of tomato or potato will cleanse the skin and also act as a natural bleach. Alternatively, you can use Cucumber slices. Almond oil can be used regularly as it is a rich source of vitamin E, which is very beneficial for skin. You can mix a small amount of honey, milk cream, oats, and almond oil and apply it to the affected portions before you go to bed. You can also apply lemon juice to make the black marks fade naturally. Soak cotton balls in lemon juice and gently swab them over the black marks on the nose. Apple cider vinegar can also be used as a replacement for lemon juice. Another good remedy is to regularly apply aloe vera gel, which cleanses the skin and helps to eliminate spots and scars.

Besides trying out these remedies, take some care to eat healthy and nutritious food. Finally, ensure that you drink good quantity of water throughout the day so that your body flushes out toxins and your skin remains hydrated.
