The condition of hair you are describing sounds like a case of hair and scalp that have not been properly cleaned and maintained for a very long time. Usually, when you do not take proper care of your hair and scalp, the result is an unhealthy scalp and hair fall. It is important for you to know that hair fall is usually the last stage of the deterioration of the scalp, hair and hair roots. You must begin following measures to take care of this at once. The first thing to do is to cut your hair short. This will automatically restore half the health of your hair. The second thing you must do is start taking care of your scalp. Buy a mild, natural, organic shampoo. Make sure you choose a variety that is meant for daily hair care. Start washing your hair everyday. This will resolve the issue of sticky deposits coming out on your fingers when you touch your hair. In all likelihood, this is dirt that is sticking to your scalp and hair due to excessive oil. Excessive oiliness occurs with infrequent washing. The way to take care of this is relatively simple. If you find that the problem has not resolved itself within a couple of weeks of regular washing, then try another method. Rub the juice of half a lime into your scalp and leave it on for about half an hour before washing. Lime will loosen dirt, dandruff and whatever else there is in your hair, because it is an effective and powerful cleaner. This should show you positive results within a couple of days at most. However, do not use this remedy for more than two times a week after the first three times. This can also lead to the occurrence of white hair.

Soak a few fenugreek seeds in a glass of water overnight. Rub the water into your scalp the next morning. This is an excellent remedy for dandruff control as well as to strengthen the strands of your hair. Rosemary is also excellent for cleansing the scalp. You can boil a few leaves in water and apply this to your hair and scalp. Repeat for a month for best results. It is important that you be aware that none of these remedies will show overnight results. The trick is to be patient and keep at it; otherwise you will not see positive results.
