I think you mean dark circles under the eyes. Most people develop dark circles under their eyes. While in some cases this is because of heredity, in most cases the dark circles are formed when you suffer from sleep deprivation. If you have just recovered from some long term illness, then your dark circles could be blamed on this.

You can use almond oil on the dark circles. Soak cotton pads in the pure almond oil and lay it on your eyes. This will help to reduce the dark circles. You should also ensure that you get sufficient hours of sleep. For at least ten days go to bed early and get at least ten hours of sleep. You will instantly notice a difference in the circles around your eyes.

Raw potatoes can work wonders in reducing the dark circles around your eyes. You can lay slices of raw potato on your eyes and relax for a little while. If you want you can also grate the potato and then make a small bundle by tying it in some thin muslin cloth and use this on your eye. The juice of a raw potato, when squeezed out of grated potato, is also very beneficial to reduce the dark circles. You can dip a clean cotton piece in this juice and apply this on the area around your eyes.

Chop and puree a ripe tomato and add the juice of one lemon to this. Apply this on the skin around your eyes and leave it to dry. Regular application of this twice a day will reduce the darkness of the skin around your eyes. You can also use a cold tea bag on your eyes. Leave it on for at least half an hour and then remove it.

You should also drink a juice made of ripe tomatoes. Add a sprig of mint to this, a dash of lemon juice and then a pinch of salt. This will help reduce the dark circles, especially if you drink it twice a day.

You can also squeeze the juice out of half a grated cucumber and add some lemon juice to it. This can be applied on the area under the eyes using a cotton swab. Left on for about fifteen minutes this can help reduce the dark circles. Another very effective remedy is freezing cucumber juice and applying this to the dark circles under the eyes.
