Dark spots can appear on our body due to various reasons. Sometimes these can be the scars of old injuries that you have forgotten. In other cases they can be caused by some infection that has left its mark. Whatever the reason, the dark spots can cause a lot of embarrassment and you should take all the steps necessary to get them out. Lemon juice is generally accepted as one of the best natural beaching agents and can help you get the spots out of your skin. All you need to do is use a clean cotton swab to apply the lemon juice on the spots. This can be done at bedtime and is usually effective. Olive oil and Vitamin E oil are two other remedies for this particular problem. Both of these can be applied at bedtime and allowed to work over night. Aloe Vera is also very effective in getting rid of spots. You can use the Aloe Vera gel on the spots. If you would like your skin to clear up and look healthy, you should also drink Aloe Vera juice regularly. This not only reduces spots but also keeps away other skin problems and ensures that you look fresh and healthy always.

Cucumber juice is also very effective in treating spots of any kind. You can also add some drops of lemon juice to this in order to make it a more effective treatment. This should be applied on the spots and left to dry. If you have a few spots on your face or any other part of the body where you can place slices of cucumber you can try this remedy. Slice pieces of cucumber and apply it on the spots. This works well with raw potato slices too. You can also peel and grate a raw potato and squeeze it to extract the juice. This juice can be applied on the spots. You can also mix some sandalwood powder with a little rose water and apply this on your spots. Take two tablespoons each of red and white sandalwood powder. Mix this with half a cup of oatmeal. Add some milk to this. You can use this as a scrub on your face. A mashed ripe tomato also works very well on spots. You can simply mash the tomato and use it. You can also mix it with some oatmeal and use this on your marks.
