Hair fall is a common occurrence and not something to get worried about. All of us lose some amount of hair every single days of our life. You should only start getting worried if you are losing too much hair each day. If you find that a clump of hair comes out each time you run a comb through your hair, then you should get worried. In that case you should step up the daily regime for your hair care. You should first of all start using a scarf around your hair, to protect it from all the ill effects of the pollution in the air. You should also make it a practice to oil your hair regularly. Oiling will work wonders and immediately prevent hair fall. If you use heated coconut oil on you hair, you will certainly see a qualitative difference in your hair. You should also be very careful about the shampoos and conditioners you use since these usually contain very harsh chemicals. These could cause hair loss. Buy gentle shampoos that will not play havoc with the quality of your hair. Avoid washing your hair too often. When you do wash it, avoid using very hot water to do so. Lukewarm water is ideal for washing your hair. Don't comb your hair when it is wet. This is when your hair is at its weakest and tugging will only cause it to break. Mix the white of one raw egg with some drops of lemon juice and massage on to your scalp. This can be allowed to dry on the hair and then washed off. You can also use Indian gooseberry powder on your hair. Mix three tablespoons of this powder with some water and boil well. Leave it out overnight and in the morning apply this thoroughly on your hair. Let it dry for at least an hour. Wash your hair using plenty of water so that the powder gets out. Do this every week.

Head lice infestations are terrible and can leave you feeling itchy and dirty. You can try some remedies for this. Of course you can use a close toothed comb to get the lice and nits out. Before you do this, you should oil your hair well. There is something about coconut oil that makes it easier to get the lice out of your hair. You can also try using Neem oil Mix a few tablespoons of this in the oil that you are using and apply this on the scalp. Cover your scalp with a towel and leave it on. Wash your hair using Neem shampoo, to ensure that the lice don't come back.
