Blackheads usually appear on the face. These are usually concentrated in the area surrounding your nose and can be found on your temples and cheeks in addition to the nose. Blackheads look like small black spots and can cause a lot of embarrassment to the people who suffer from them. One of the easiest ways of getting rid of blackheads is by steaming your face. Allow the steam rising out of a pot of hot water to play over your face. This can help open the pores on your face and prevent the formation of blackheads. You can add a few drops of water to a small amount of baking powder. Use this to massage on your blackheads. Wash this off with water. This will keep your skin feeling soft and ensure that you don't get blackheads. You can use mashed ripe tomatoes to get rid of the blackheads that are bothering you. In the morning simply mash a ripe tomato and apply on your face. Take care to keep the tomato pulp out of your eyes. Leave this on for around ten minutes and then wash this off. This will keep your skin feeling soft and fresh.
You can also beat up the white of one raw egg and add a few drops of lemon juice. Use a clean cotton swab to apply this to the blackheads. This will dry in about fifteen minutes. Wash if off after this and you will find that you have soft skin. One teaspoon of cinnamon powder can be mixed with one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and used as a facial scrub. This can help get rid of black heads. An application of tea tree oil on your blackheads at bedtime works well too and helps you get rid of the blackheads. A paste made of fenugreek leaves is also believed to be beneficial if applied on the blackheads at bedtime. A simple remedy uses warmed honey. This is applied directly on the blackheads and left on for around fifteen minutes. After this it can be washed away. Mix one teaspoon of groundnut oil with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply this on your blackheads and leave on for fifteen minutes. Wash it off with warm water after this. You will find that this works very well in getting rid of the blackheads. Three teaspoons of honey should be mixed with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and applied on the blackheads at bedtime. In the morning you will find that your blackheads have been cleared.
