Burn marks can cause a great deal of embarrassment. And since you have mentioned hat you have burn marks on your legs, your desire to get rid of them is understandable. You should use lemon juice on these marks. Lemon juice is known to help fade marks. Use fresh lemon juice and apply it with a clean cotton swab. This dries quickly and since this does not stain, can also be applied at night and left on overnight. Olive oil is another liquid that you can use on your marks. This also helps the marks fade. Use Vitamin E oil on the burn marks. You can also use cucumber juice the marks. Squeeze the juice out of some grated cucumber and apply with a clean cotton swab. A few drops of lemon juice, added to cucumber juice, make it an effective way to get rid of the marks. Grated raw potato is also effective in fading marks. You can either make a poultice of a handful of grated raw potato or if you find it difficult to place this on your burn marks you can squeeze out the juice and apply this. A ripe tomato also works very well on the burn marks. Aloe Vera gel works very well on marks on any kind and you can certainly try it on your burn marks. The most effective way to use Aloe Vera is to find a plant and extract the sap from the leaf. This works wonders. Honey is another product from your kitchen that you can use to get rid of marks. Apply a small quantity on your burns and leave it. If you are afraid of the honey staining your clothes you can tie a bandage on it.

You can also use a ripe banana on the burn marks. Choose a banana that can be mashed easily and simply apply the mashed pulp on your burn marks. This should be left on for at least half an hour and then washed off. Chop a handful of mint leaves. Tie them up in a muslin cloth and then squeeze hard. You will be able to extract a few drops of juice. Apply this on your burn marks. In addition to these external applications you can also try to speed up the process of healing by ensuring that you eat a good diet. Your diet should include vegetables and fruits.
