Similarly, the juice of a raw grated potato is also very effective and can work wonders on the skin and can be applied regularly. You will find that using the pulp of a ripe tomato on the pores works wonders. Simply mash the ripe tomato and apply it on your face. Similarly sandalwood paste is believed to be a great way of toning your skin. You should mix two teaspoons of sandalwood powder with some drops of rose water and apply this on your face.
You will find that regulating your intake of oily food items will also make a great difference to the quality of your skin. Completely stop eating food that has been cooked by using a large quantity of oil or fat of any kind. For this same reason you should stop eating butter and mayonnaise. Cheese and food items that contain white flour are equally bad for your skin and must instantly be stopped. Your diet should include large quantities of liquid, preferably fruit juices or water.
