Steps to prevent dark circles, reasons for having dark circles

I want to know how to get rid of circles under eyes – please help!

Getting rid of dark circles would begin with getting rid of the reason you have dark circles. Keep in mind that dark circles are not a problem unto themselves. Rather, they are symptomatic of another problem and a manifestation of something else altogether. You can get dark circles if you are faced with the problem of sleeplessness. This is the most common cause of dark circles. If this fits in your reason, you can get rid of these circles by simple ensuring that you get at least eight hours of sleep on a daily basis. This is particularly important for your eyes as well as your general good health. Once you have regulated your sleeping pattern and are spending about eight to 10 hours of your day sleeping, you will notice that the dark circles will recede in as little as a couple of months. But keep in mind that this is the minimum amount of time that they will take to recede.

The other reasons for dark circles could be excessive strain of the eyes due to activities such as sitting before a computer screen or watching too much television. If either of these falls into your daily routine, you should cut down on your time of staring at a screen. This will help the situation automatically. If you cannot help the situation, start making corrective changes so that you stop suffering from the unattractive problem of developing dark circles. Take a break every hour from sitting before a screen. This will automatically reduce the amount of stress your eyes are exposed to. If not possible, simply get up from the screen and take a short walk. Even a one minute respite will help you a great deal. If you are under some kind of mental strain or stress, this will also add to your dark circles. Keep in mind that the combination of stress and advanced age can lead to the appearance of dark circles very quickly. Be very careful how you treat your eyes as your age advances. Anything could damage them, and will result in pain and discomfort. When suffering from too much stress, one of the first things that happen is that dark circles appear beneath your eyes. You can apply cucumber slices or used and chilled tea bags to get relief from pain as well. This will also help to get rid of your dark circles very quickly and affectively.
