The skin on our buttocks is usually rough. The skin often turns dark and can look unattractive. Unfortunately most of us tend to ignore the skin on our buttocks. As a result of the neglect it turns dark and looks unpleasant. Wearing tight underwear can cause a lot of friction. You should wear loose cotton undergarments. These allow your skin to breathe. These are especially necessary when you are exercising. When you exercise not only do you sweat a lot but your also move around, causing friction to your skin. Wearing cotton underclothes will help the sweat to be absorbed by the natural fiber. The natural fiber and the looseness of the garment will also allow your skin to breathe. You should make it a point to shower in warm water after you have exercised. Take care to clean your entire body, washing your buttocks well too. Always dry yourself well so that there is no chance of your developing any kind of infection. You can apply some moisturizing cream on your buttock at bedtime so that the cream can work overnight on your skin.

You can increase your intake of fluids during the day. Cut down on oily and spicy food and eat large quantities of fresh fruits and raw vegetables. You can use Tea tree oil on your acne. Apply this at night and go to bed in loose clothes. It helps to wear clothes made of natural fibers. You can also use Aloe Vera gel on the acne on your buttocks. Applying this gel on your acne will help smoothen the skin and reduce the acne, resulting in softer and smoother skin. You can also apply a thick paste made of two tablespoons of gram flour mixed with one teaspoon of milk and a pinch of turmeric. Apply this on your buttocks and let it dry there. Wet your hands and rub at the dried paste, working it off your skin slowly. Bad hygiene also contributes to the appearance of the acne on your buttocks. If you use public toilets which are not clean or if your bathtub is not cleaned regularly, then you may develop these problems. You should take steps to stop using public bathrooms at least for a little while and keep your own bathroom clean. You should also keep your hands away from your bottom and resist constantly touching it since this can cause the acne to spread very quickly.
