Gray hair natural treatment Graying of hair is just a normal part of life, another part of the aging process and in fact probably the most harmless, least troublesome one. After a certain point in life, hair begins to grow without the pigment melanin, as a result of which it appears white. Unless you are too young to have gray hair — which would mean if you are below 30 years of age — there is nothing to worry about and no real treatment for gray hair either, apart from dyeing your hair.
If you are below 30, there is still a chance that premature graying is genetic for you or your family, in which case you will again need to just live with it. However there is also a chance that there is some underlying medical condition or a problem with your diet. If you are suffering from any medical condition, gray hair will not be the only symptom — if you experience other symptoms, be sure to consult your doctor. If you are already on medication, ask your doctor whether the gray hair could be due to the medication.
Make sure that your diet has all the necessary minerals and vitamins, as a deficiency in one of these might cause premature graying. Smoking is another factor that seems to increase the risk of hair turning gray early in life, so if you smoke, this is another reason to stop.
