Although oiling your hair regularly is essential for thick healthy hair, doing this daily is not necessary at all. Its fine to oil your hair once a week, as long as you ensure that the oil is warm since it is more effective then. You can also use a mixture of olive and coconut oil on your hair. To make the oil more effective, you can boil pieces of dried Indian gooseberry in it. Boil the oil till the pieces of dried gooseberry become black. These pieces can be discarded and the oil can be stored and used regularly. You can also add dried piece of lemon peel on your hair, and use this oil to massage. You can also use dried pieces of Indian gooseberry in other ways. For instance you can boil the pieces and use the water to rinse out your hair. The powdered form of the Indian gooseberry can be boiled with water and applied on the hair. This keeps your hair feeling soft and makes it healthier and shinier. Washing your hair with some lemon juice can also make your hair shinier.

Once a week you should break a raw egg and use only the egg white on your hair. You can beat it well before you apply it on your hair, adding some drops of lemon juice. Henna too can be used once or twice a month, to keep your hair looking healthy and thick. Make a paste of the henna powder by adding the water in which a tea bag has been boiled. Leave this paste out overnight in an iron pot. In the morning this can be applied to the hair and then washed off. Aloe Vera gel is very effective in all beauty treatments and is especially beneficial when it comes to your hair. Simply scoop out the gel and apply on your hair. Wash it twenty minutes later and you will find that your hair feels very smooth and silky. You will find that drinking Aloe Vera juice every day will help your hair look healthy and thicker. You should also make some changes to your diet and include lots of fruits and vegetables if you want your hair to look good. Eat your meals on time and ensure that you eat balanced meals. Avoid getting stressed and worried about anything and ensure that you get a good night's sleep. Keep regular hours and eat food that is healthy, rather than oily, greasy and spicy food.
