These white spots could be traced to various causes. These could be the sign of vitiligo, which is an infection that affects the skin. People who suffer from this infection notice white spots on the body. These spots usually start out as small ones but may spread and even join each other. You should observe the white spots. Do they look as if they are growing? Do two or more spots seem to be joining each other? The white spots could also be caused by another infection known as Tinea Versicolor. This is a yeast infection that affects the skin. This condition is believed to be genetic. Although this can be treated, you should first confirm what you are suffering from, before you start out on any kind of course of treatment. The white spots that you have noticed could also be caused by a skin condition known as Pityriasis Alba. When you suffer from this condition you find that your skin is irritated. As a result the production of pigments in your body is reduced. This causes the skin to become lighter. It is advisable that you consult your doctor about these white spots since it is not possible to offer you a diagnosis without checking them properly.

In the meanwhile you can also follow some simple precautions to ensure that the white spots on your body don't spread or grow larger. First of all you should become far more conscious of hygiene. You should always change your clothes. Ensure that your bed clothes are changed regularly and washed well. Your clothes should also be washed regularly. One of the ways of ensuring that the infection does not spread is by using hot water. You should ensure that you bathe regularly. Your diet too should be changed and should be a healthy diet. You should eat more fruits and vegetables and cut down on your intake of friend, spicy food items. Including yogurt in your daily intake of food will help you. Eating whole grains and fruits and vegetables will ensure that your immune system becomes stronger and able to fight the infection. Drinking more fluids will help you too. You should also ensure that you eat honey regularly. You can also eat dry fruits like figs, dates and almonds. However, before you start on any medication, you should consult your doctor and confirm the name of the condition that you are suffering from.
