Remedies for pimples

If your scalp is dry you can try massaging it regularly but gently, as this tends to stimulate blood circulation and the function of the sebaceous glands on the scalp. With regard to the effect that oil seems to have, this is probably only a perceived difference – when you oil your hair, due to the stickiness, “fallen” hair may not actually fall off your head until you wash your hair. As you probably know, some amount of hair fall is completely normal for everyone. There is no real reason why oil should cause your hair to fall, but if you like, you can try changing the oil you use, and see if there is any difference.

You haven't mentioned your sex or age, but if your hair is thin in the front and the top, this is probably the beginning of what is known as male pattern baldness. If you are a man over the age of 35, this is quite likely to be the cause, although women also experience similar thinning of hair at the same age, and sometimes even younger men experience this problem. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to control or reverse male pattern baldness, so you will just need to accept the fact that you are beginning to lose hair. There is no way to regrow hair that has fallen, and no way to stop hair loss.

Remedies for pimples

A chronic problem with pimples and blackheads basically means that you are suffering from acne. Although acne is a very common problem, there is as yet no certain cure for it. Many over the counter products and even home remedies claim to be able to get rid of pimples and blackheads, but most of them are useless, particularly the ones that claim to work overnight or within one week. Once it has appeared, pimple or blackhead will take at least four days to go away. Some treatments however do help in preventing or at least limiting the development of new pimples and blackheads.

If you want to try some over the counter creams, you can use one that contains salicylic acid. The basic cause of pimples and blackheads is the blockage of pores and thus the sebaceous glands by dead skin cells, leading to a build up of sebum. Creams containing salicylic acid help the skin to get rid of dead cells instead of allowing them to block pores. Meanwhile you should also keep your face clean at all times. Wash your face gently several times a day using plain water, and avoid scratching or bursting the pimples and blackheads that you already have.

Do not expect quick results — as mentioned before, acne cannot be cured in a hurry. However, if you follow these instructions diligently, you should notice results within three weeks.
