Suitable shampoo and conditioner for growing long and heavy hair

I really want to grow my hair long and heavy, my hair is not very thin also, now my hair is near my shoulder level. I trim it and again it becomes short, the process goes on? What to do?

Your question is rather confusing - for one thing, you say that your hair is not very thin. If you already have thick hair, then it is not clear what you are aiming at when you say you want your hair to be "heavy". Normally, heavy implies that one's hair is thick and full, and you do not seem to have any problem on this count. If you do have such a problem, then regular conditioning and use of some home remedies should be able to solve the problem, along with a suitable hair cut. First ensure that your shampoo and conditioner are suitable for your hair. Hair often looks thin and limp because of the shampoo or conditioner that is used. You should actually consider whether you need a conditioner at all - some people have naturally shiny, smooth hair, and a conditioner can unnecessarily give such hair an additional coating, making it lie limp and flat against the head. On the other hand, you can also try using a volumizing shampoo or conditioner to give your hair more body. As mentioned earlier, a different hair style may also help - it seems like your hair is all one length. Such a hair style may not suit all hair types and face shapes, as it often causes the hair to hang limp and lifeless. If your hair is cut in layers it will look fuller and more bouncy, and this may solve your problem entirely.

Regarding the slow growth rate of your hair, first of all consider whether you should reduce the frequency of your trims. Hair grows at an average rate of 0.4 mm per day, and it is possible that your hair grows slower than this, or that you simply cut it too often. Try maintaining longer intervals of time between two trims, so that your hair has a chance to grow. On the other hand, it is possible that your hair can grow no longer than shoulder length. Hair growth occurs in phases, and the length of the growth phase (known as the anagen phase) is determined by your genes. For some people, the anagen phase is extremely long, while for others it may be quite short. You can ensure that your diet is healthy, so that your hair grows at the maximum rate possible, but beyond this, there is nothing you can do. As far as your diet goes, variety and balance are all that are needed - hair needs so many different vitamins and minerals to grow, that focusing on one or two foods is not enough.
