If you have an oval face, you really have no need to worry about your hair style, as almost any hair style will suit you. This is of course provided it has been cut well and it goes with your personality. Keeping in mind these two considerations, people with oval faces can do pretty much anything with their hair. You can cut your hair as short as you like, or you can grow it as long as you like. Very long hair that is all one length does not suit most people, but with an oval face, you might be able to pull it off. The same goes for very short hair styles.

First you should of course be sure that you are describing your face type properly. An oval face is one in which the width (cheekbone to cheekbone) is approximately half the length of the face, and the jaw is noticeably narrower than the cheekbones without the chin being pointy. This is considered to be the most balanced, attractive face shape.

If this is the shape of your face, then probably the only recommendation that you need is that your hair style should not hide your face. With such an ideal shape, something like a fringe, for example, will hide your forehead and change the proportions of your face, spoiling the fine natural balance. Tying your hair in a ponytail on the other hand, will allow your face to be seen properly, thus making full use of its shape. Other options include accessories such as hair bands to keep hair off your face. You could also partially tie or pin up your hair - do this for the upper portion of your hair, while leaving the lower portion free. This typically looks more casual and fun than a ponytail and other similar styles.

However, since you want to draw attention to your eyes, a layered look will be better for you. Such hair styles give the hair more bounce and character and the layers highlight features such as the eyes and the cheekbones. For you, the layers should ideally begin at approximately eye level. This is of course not the only way to emphasize your eyes - you can always use kohl or eyeliner to do this.

Finally of course, you need to have a good hair dresser. These are all general recommendations, and a good hair dresser will take into account your actual features as well as your hair type (which you haven't mentioned), and then recommend the ideal hair style for you.
