Two months is a long time in the treatment for black eye as normally a black eye heals in about a week. And you haven't mentioned anything about your vision. Is your vision ok or do you have any problems with it? Do you have any swelling on the affected area? If you have pain in your eyes, double or blurred vision or if your eyes are too sensitive to light then you might need immediate medical attention. Have you seen the doctor yet? If it is taking so long there might be some serious damage so please visit a doctor as soon as you can. Your doctor will determine the extent of damage caused to your eye and then recommend suitable treatment for it. A black eye is the result of internal bleeding, and that's what causes the blackish blue or purple look. The best thing for black eye treatment is to use an ice pack. Ice helps to constrict the blood vessels and stop the internal bleeding that causes a black eye and it also helps to reduce the swelling. Wrap crushed ice in a towel and apply it on your cheek. Do not apply it directly on the eye as it might put unnecessary pressure on it. You may also use the frozen gel pack or a bag of frozen peas or a cold beverage can if ice is not available, just make sure its washed clean before application.

Do not blow your nose and try not to sneeze as it might aggravate the swelling. Have a Vitamin C supplement daily for the next few days as it promotes quick healing. You can also try eating lots of pineapple and papaya as a black eye remedy. They are rich in Vitamin C and they both have a certain enzyme in them, which is known to change the molecular structure of the blood and our body absorbs it easily. Besides this also eat other fruits and vegetables rich in Vitamin C like sweet potatoes, broccoli, mangoes, oranges, etc. Apply Witch hazel pads to the bruise every night. They help in reducing the swelling and pain. You could also try using an old herbal remedy of green ice. Mix 1 cup fresh parsley with 2 tablespoons of water and grind it in a blender till you get a smooth runny mix. Freeze this in an ice cube tray. Then pack these frozen pieces in a soft cloth and apply it on the affected area. Parsley has anaesthetic and anti inflammatory properties and ice helps to reduce the swelling.
