Tips to stick to regime of cleansing and toning skin

I am 29 and have red color pimple marks, holes on my face left thru old pimples. I do not have pimple problem now. My skin is very dry, sensitive. How to cleanse tone moisturize face everyday at home?

Acne is a common skin problem that affects most adolescents and continues to trouble some people even in their adult life. The main reason for acne is hormonal imbalance but it can also occur due to the presence of toxic substances in the body, constipation and bowel disorder, reaction to certain medications, malnutrition and lack of adequate skin care. If you do not stick to a proper regime of cleansing and toning the pores of your skin could get clogged with accumulated dirt and this could lead to various skin problems such as acne. It is thus important to keep the skin clean and healthy in order to treat and prevent acne. While acne is rather painful and ugly while the pimples last, another problem related to acne is the ugly scar it leaves behind. Though it is difficult to get rid of these scars, it is not entirely impossible and you can use several home remedies to gradually fade the scars.

Lemon juice can be used to lighten the acne scars. You can wipe your face with a cotton ball that has been dipped in lemon juice, washing your face with cool water ten minutes later. Since lemon has the side-effect of making skin sensitive to the sun's rays you should take care to apply a good sunscreen with a SPF of minimum 20 before you step out. Another good way to gradually fade the acne scars is to scrub your face using a mixture of 1 tsp baking soda and 2tsps filtered water. This is a good way to naturally exfoliate your skin, getting rid of the dead skin and damaged layers of the skin. You can follow this by gently massaging your skin with a few drops of olive oil. This helps to naturally moisturize your skin and the olive oil penetrates into the skin activating its rejuvenating properties. Alternately you can use Vitamin E oil to moisturize your skin and reduce the scar marks. Some fruits are also beneficial in treating acne scars since they supply the skin with Vitamin C which in turn helps the skin to produce collagen needed to treat scarred skin. ΒΌ cup of chopped pineapple can be pureed and this can be applied on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes and washed off with cold water. This not only nourishes the skin with Vitamin C it also lighten the skin, thus reducing the scars over time. You should remember that it is important to supply your skin all the essential nutrients which allow the skin to repair and rejuvenate itself. Above all, it is crucial to drink plenty of water to naturally moisturize your skin.
