Home Remedies for Dandruff
There are several remedies you can follow to eliminate dandruff. Begin by adding a few drops of tea tree oil to your regular shampoo and continue to use is as you always do. This alone should help to clear up your dandruff within a week or so. If the problem is chronic, however, it may take some more methods and time to take care of it. Try to follow a procedure of applying warm almond or olive oil to your hair, leaving it on overnight and washing it off the next morning for a couple of weeks. An hour before you wash it off, rub half a lime into your scalp. Let this dry and begin to itch; this is indicative of the fact that the dandruff is being removed from its roots.
Make a solution of whipped yogurt with a few drops of lime added to it and apply this to your hair and scalp. Leave it on for about an hour and then wash off as usual. This will help in getting rid of dandruff and will also condition your hair to make it look healthier and shinier. Make camphor wash by crushing a few pieces of camphor and adding them to water. Let this stand for about two days and then use it to rinse out and wash your hair.
