If you have had a sudden spurt of marks of any sort on your face, the first thing you must do is seek medical advice. In order to determine what causes any kind of marks to your face, it is important that you get your skin examined by a dermatologist, also commonly known as a skin specialist. This examination will reveal if there is any particular serious reason for the development of these marks. If so, you would need to work on eliminating the reason, rather than the marks themselves. Sometimes, hormonal changes could be the cause of sudden appearance of marks on any part of your body. It could also be that you have developed an infection of some sort that is leading to the occurrence of these marks. What you basically need to figure out is whether these marks are topical or they stem from a problem that lies beneath. For topical marks, there is a number of home remedies you can adopt to remove them. Just keep in mind that these marks may be deep rooted on the surface of your skin and may take a while to go. The trick is to not lose patience and to keep working on it.

One of the best remedial measures you can adopt for marks on your face is to make it a daily routine of applying a face pack of plain yogurt. This is one of the best products to use to keep your skin healthy and free of marks and blemishes of any kind. You can do this before a bath, as it then becomes easier to wash it off afterwards. You will only notice a change over a period of time with this method. So do not expect miraculous overnight changes. Another method to use is to apply a paste made of pineapple, papaya and orange to your face. This will cleanse as well as mildly bleach your skin. These products also constitute the most harmless of bleaching agents, so you can use this on a daily basis as well. Applying a diluted mix of hydrogen peroxide can also help to lighten the darkness of your marks. You can dilute one part of hydrogen peroxide with 10 parts of water. This should work well enough. Make it a point to apply this only at night, however. And keep in mind that you must not leave it on for more than 10 minutes at a time.
