Home Remedies for Hair Loss

Split ends in the hair is one of the frequently found problems. This problem is more common with dry or combination hair. It is one of main reasons of hair loss. If you want to regain your long, thick hair, you need to treat the split ends of hair. There may be different reasons for split ends such as vigorous brushing, coloring and perming the hair, brushing of wet hair and heat appliances. Regular hair trimming is the most effective way to remove the split ends. Once the hair is trimmed, they tend to grow faster. You should take some precautions to avoid the split ends. Avoid brushing the wet hair. Avoid use of spiky brushes, rubber bands and sharp clips. Massage with juice of bhongra leaves is found to be very effective for the health of hair. Hair massage using the oil extracted from the seeds of sagvan is very effective for premature hair loss. The paste made from powdered seeds of shana with castor/ sesame/ coconut oil is considered as good hair tonic. Rohisa oil rubbed on the head is helpful in growing hair.

Natural Treatment For Hair Loss

It is extremely important for you to first figure out why exactly you are suffering from all these collective hair related ailments at your age. Apart from heredity, there could also be many other reasons for it. It could be that you are suffering from stress, which has had a negative effect on the health of your hair. It could also be that you have become busy and have had no time to take proper care of your hair. Most of us forget that hair needs to be looked after and it does not look after itself!

You should begin looking after your hair by following a daily regimen of hair care. Brush your hair with a wooden brush twice a day for about five minutes each time. Do not use a comb. A wooden brush will produce less static than a plastic comb or brush and will thus reduce dryness and splitting of hair. To take care of splits, you must also oil the tips of your hair each night. You may be surprised to see that your hair does not even need washing the next morning after doing this. Nevertheless, it is a good practice to oil your hair once a week. You can soak some fenugreek seeds in water overnight and rub this water into your scalp before washing the next morning. It will promote good hair growth and health.

Alternative Treatment for Healthy Hair

It is surprising that you have waiting for five years, when your hair has become a quarter of what it used to be, before doing something about your hair loss. With such severe hair loss, you probably should have sought professional help several years ago. Even now, it is not too late to seek professional help. Since you are suffering from such extreme hair loss, the best approach for you would be to visit a hair specialist and find out what exactly is wrong.

If you want to try a few things on your own before visiting a specialist, the first thing you need to do is cut off the split ends. Trying to grow hair that has split only worsens the problem. Visit a hairdresser and ask him or her to cut your hair as much as is necessary to get rid of the split ends.

Next, look at your diet and see if it is lacking in anything — often a problem with hair growth is due to some deficiencies in minerals or vitamins. In addition, you should start using oils and conditioners if you do not already do so. Oil your hair every night using coconut oil or olive oil, and wash off the oil the next morning using a suitable shampoo, after which you should apply a suitable conditioner and leave it in for at least five minutes.
